JERSEY SHORE - Austin Imhoof won in straight sets, but Jersey Shore picked up a three-set win at No. 2 doubles to outlast Selinsgrove, 3-2 in the Heartland Athletic Conference-Division I opener for both teams.
Imhoff picked up a victory, dropping just six total games at No. 1 singles. The No. 1 doubles team of Jaquin Basu and McAlister DeFazio won 6-2 in the third set at No. 1 doubles for the Seals (0-1 overall and HAC-I).
The Jersey Shore team of Jared Palski and Christopher Wilson won a tight match at No. 2 double to clinch the victory. They split the first two sets with Andon Kloostra and Lomond Rogers by an identical score of 7-5, before Palski and Wilson won the deciding third set by a score of 6-3.
