Rodkey win four events to help Seals sweep tri-meet

SELINSGROVE — Logan Rodkey won the 100, 200 and anchored the winning 400 and 1,600 relay teams to lead the Seals to a 118.5-31.5 win over Central Mountain in Heartland Athletic Conference-Division I action.
Rodkey won the 100 in 11.14, while winning the 200 in 22.74. Rodkey anchored the 400 relay team of Brett Rice, Devon Mitchell and Brody Deivert to a winning time of 44.44. In the 1,600 relay, Rodkey anchored the squad of Evan Dagle, Deivert and Rice to a winning time of 3:24.24.
Collin Melhorn won the shot put (51-11 1/2) and discus (144-6), while Derick Blair won the 1,600 (4:38.8) and 3,200 (10:26) for the Seals. Deivert sweep the hurdles races, winning 110 high hurdles in 16.24 and 300 intermediates in 41.24.
Bobby Kruskie (800, 2:13.74), Michael Stebila (high jump, 6-0), Damian Hahn (pole vault, 11-0) and Carter Young (javelin, 136-8) also won individual events for Selinsgrove.
The team of Michael Andretta, Dagle, Kruskie and Jack Kappen won the 3,200 relay for Selinsgrove.
