WYALUSING - Canton held off a late Wyalusing charge to beat the Rams, 3-1, during NTL volleyball action.
Canton won the first two sets 25-13 and 25-16, while Wyalusing won the third set 25-16. The Warriors won the deciding set 25-15.
Cailyn VanNoy had 14 points, three aces, seven kills, and eight digs, Vayda Bryan had 14 points, four aces, four assists, and three digs, and Makenna Seachrist notched a point, two kills, and two digs.
Also for the Warriors, Tara Gilbert had nine points, three aces, six kills, and two digs, as Addi Pepper had 11 points, two aces, three kills, 14 assists, and seven digs.
Chelsea Lehman notched eight points, two aces, four kills, and four digs, with Kendall Kitchen getting eight points, three aces, a kill, two assists, and 14 digs.
Kaylynn Pidcoe chipped in with three digs.
Canton also won the JV match, a 2-1 thriller. The Rams took the first set 27-25, but Canton won the next two 25-19, and 16-14.
Alyssa May had seven aces, seven digs, two assists, and a kill, as Abbey Marbaker had nine digs, four assists, and two kills.
Danah Wesneski finished with eight aces, two digs, and three kills, while Neveah Vroman had five aces, three digs, six assists, and five kills.
Lydia Roupp notched three aces, and four kills, with Alley Marbaker getting three digs and a kill. Riley Gowin had two digs and two kills, Gabby Thursby notched a kill, and Ashley Valera had a dig.
