Lady Hornets Fall To Rival North Penn-Liberty

North Penn-Liberty shut out rival Wellsboro 12-0 in 5 innings on Friday, May 5.
The Lady Mounties scored one run in the 1st, added another in the 3rd, then exploded for 9 runs in the 4th and added their final run in the 5th.
Wellsboro was held to just two hits on the afternoon, one from senior Rylie Boyce and the other from junior Caralyn Warner.
The loss drops the Lady Hornets to 2-10 (2-9 NTL Large School Division). The team is back in action on Monday at Cowanesque Valley.
