Lady Hornets Fall To Loyalsock

The Wellsboro Girls Varsity Soccer team dropped a 1-0 non-league contest to Loyalsock at home on Saturday, September 23.
The Lady Lancers' Lauren O'Malley found the back of the net with 21:22 for the game's only goal. Wellsboro took 4 shots on the day, two in the first half by freshman Ella Boyce and junior Madelynn Losinger, and two in the second half, both by senior Sara Seeling.
Loyalsock took 17 shots during the game and had a 3-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Freshman Jadyn Dunlap made 15 saves in goal.
There was no JV game.
The loss drops the Lady Hornets to 2-7 (1-5 NTL). The team is at rival North Penn-Mansfield on Tuesday.
