Lady Hornets Fall To Hughesville

The Wellsboro Girls Soccer team dropped their second consecutive game to start the season, falling 8-0 to Hughesville on Saturday, September 2.
The Lady Spratans scored 5 first half goals and added 3 more in the second, while holding the Lady Hornets to two shot attempts on goal, one by senior Sara Seeling and the other by sophomore Lilah Parades.
Junior Annie Gehman made 25 saves in goal.
The loss drops Wellsboro to 0-2 (0-1 NTL). The team is back in action on Tuesday, September 5 at home against Athens.
