Wellsboro's Junior High Soccer team held Williamson scoreless in a 2-0 win on Monday, September 11.

"We did not have our best performance as a team throughout this match with our communication and passing but found a way to get the win," head coach Derek Stevens said. "Making the win possible was our goalie, Camden Bryant, making some great saves and keeping Williamson scoreless."

The Hornets' first goal occurred as Liam Stevens dribbled up from midfield after receiving a pass from Lauren Gehman at 11:12 into the first half. Luna Moyer scored later in the second half from crashing the goal after Williamson's goalie blocked a shot from Stevens.

Camden Bryant 5 saves to keep Williamson off the board.

Wellsboro also won the B game 2-0 with goals from Hailey Smith, assisted by Octavian Wyman, and Connor Hartman. Brycen Witmer made 4 saves.

Wellsboro (4-0) travels to Towanda on Thursday.
