Wellsboro's Junior High Soccer program remained undefeated following a 3-1 win at Towanda on Thursday, September 14.

"The team came together and gave us an exciting show and kept us engaged the entire time," head coach Derek Stevens said. "They came out strong and never slowed down."

Lauren Gehman scored a pair of goals to lead Wellsboro to victory, the first coming 15 minutes into the contest off a Gabe Cuneo corner kick. At 23:14 Michael Seeling got the Hornets' second goal from crashing the goal after Liam Stevens' shot was blocked.

Gehman's final goal came on a header from a great cross from Xavier Lecker in the second half.

Camden Bryant and Samuel Jackson both recorded 3 saves each in goal.

Wellsboro (5-0) travels to Troy on Monday.
