JH Soccer Rolls Past Troy

The Wellsboro Junior High Soccer team kept their undefeated season intact with an 8-1 win over Troy on Monday, September 18.
"The team played fast and hard right out the gate and never slowed down," head coach Derek Stevens said. "The entire team got some quality minutes to continue to develop our very deep roster."
Wellsboro scored six goals in the first half: two from Xavier Lecker and one each from Gabe Cuneo, Liam Stevens, Hailey Smith, and Camden Bryant. Octavian Wyman and Connor Hartman scored in the 2nd half.
Cuneo, Bradyn Benjamin and Ransom Schultz all added assists. Schultz and Brycen Witmer made one save each in goal.
Wellsboro (6-0) hosts Wyalusing on Saturday morning.
