Hornet Grapplers Fall To Canton

The Wellsboro Wrestling team suffered a 64-6 loss to Canton in their first match of the new year on Wednesday, January 4.
The match started off at 114 lbs., and the Warriors rattled off 11 straight wins to take a commanding 64-0 lead. Wellsboro's lone win of the evening came at 285 lbs. in a forfeit for freshman Jacob Thurstin.
The loss drops the Hornets to 1-4 (1-3 NTL). The team is back in action on Friday at home against Lewisburg.
