Canton went 3-1 at the District IV Duals in Milton, taking third place and earning a spot in the PIAA Class AA Duals Championships.
They opened by beating Montoursville (40-24), then lost to Montgomery (34-28). In the consolation semifinals they beat Towanda (40-19), then defeated Warrior Run (39-25) in the third place match.
Against Montoursville Hudson Ward (138), Hayden Ward (145), Bailey Ferguson (152), and Mason Nelson (285) had falls, with Holden Ward (126) getting a forfeit. Riley Parker (189) added a major decision, as Brenen Taylor (160) and Lyle Vermilya (106) both had decisions.
In the district semifinal that they lost to Montgomery Parker (189), and Nelson (285) had falls, with Holden Ward (126) getting a technical fall. Hayden Ward (152) and Cohen Landis (113) each had a major decision, while Vermilya (106) recorded a decision.
In the win over Towanda Hayden Ward (152), Parker (189), Conner Davis (215), Landis (120), and Holden Ward (126) all had falls, with Ferguson (160) getting a major decision. Nelson (285), and Hudson Ward (145) each had a decision.
In the bronze medal match against Warrior Run Hayden Ward (152), Davis (215), Nelson (285), Landis (113), and Holden Ward (120) had falls, with Hudson Ward (145), Parker (189), and Ferguson (160) each getting decisions.
