Warriors fall to South Williamsport, 13-3

Canton hung with South Williamsport for five innings, but a 7-run sixth from the Mounties propelled them to a 13-3 win in six innings during non-league baseball action.

Cooper Kitchen (2-for-4) led the Warriors at the plate, with a run scored, while Weston Bellows (1-for-3) had a triple with a run scored, and an RBI.

Holden Ward (1-for-3) scored a run, while Brenen Taylor (1-for-3), Jason Mahosky (1-for-1), and Cohen Landis (1-for-3) also had hits.

Ward took the loss, going two innings to strikeout one with one walk, four hits, and three earned runs.

Bellows went the next three innings, striking out one, with two walks, five hits, and four runs, four of which were earned.

Paul Inman pitched one-third of an inning, allowing two walks, one hit, and four earned runs.

Harold went the final two-thirds, with one hit, and one earned run.
