PALMYRA - Garrett Howell had five goals and an assist, but Palmyra broke open a one-goal game at the half with nine goals in the second half as the Cougars beat Selinsgrove, 15-8, in nonleague boys lacrosse.
Aaron Rothermel, Zack Rusesky and Val Barillo also scored for the Seals. Roy Sassaman won 21 of 27 faceoffs for Selinsgrove, while Sassaman and Logan Outhoudt each had a team-high 11 groundballs.
