Seals finish season with win over East Juniata

COCOLAMUS — Seniors Isaiah Ulrich and Ryan Reich wrapped up their basketball careers in fine fashion on Wednesday night.
Ulrich scored 18 points, and Reich chipped in 15 points as the Seals beat East Juniata, 66-49, in the final game for both players in a Selinsgrove uniform.
The Seals finish the season at 5-17, and won four of their final seven games of the season, after starting the year at 1-10. Spencer George added 12 points. Selinsgrove knocked down 12 3-pointers in the win, led by Ulrich’s six.
Tanner Barth had 19 points to lead the Tigers (15-6). East Juniata tenatively will host Northwest in the first round of the District 4 Class 2A playoffs on Wednesday. District 4 will release the brackets on Sunday.
