There are six new inductees for the NTL cross-country Hall of Fame, with the four runners making the cut: Troy's Casey Norton, NEB's Ethan Laudermilch, and Wyalusing's duo of Richard Neiley and Robert Neiley.
Troy's Bob Hunter is the coach, while the team is the 2014 NEB boys' squad.
Casey Norton, Troy
Norton ran from 2009-2012, and was a 2-time state medalist, taking 25th in the Class AA race as a junior, and third in the Class A race as a senior.
Norton was also a district champion her senior year, and took second in the district as a sophomore.
Ethan Laudermilch, NEB
Laudermilch was a 2-time state medalist in Class AA. He took 25th in 2006, and finished 15th in 2007.
Richard Neiley, Wyalusing
Neiley ran from 1992-1995, and was a 2-time state medalist in Class AA in 1994 and 1995.
He was an 3-time NTL first team member, and a 3-time District IV medalist. His 1994 team won the NTL title, and took third at states, while the 1995 team were the District IV champions and took fourth at states.
Neiley also ran at RIT, and was 13 at the NCAA Division-III Championships in 1996.
Robert Neiley, Wyalusing
Neiley ran from 1992-1995, and was a state medalist in 1995 in the Class AA race.
He was also the NTL Runner of the Year in 1995, while a 3-time first team All-NTL all-star. He was a 2-time District IV medalist, and helped the 1994 Wyalusing team win the NTL title, and take third at states, and the 1995 team to a District IV title, and fourth at states.
He ran for the US Naval Academy.
Bob Hunter, Troy
Hunter coached Troy from 1987 to 1992. His boys' teams only lost one dual meet during those six years, and finished as high as fourth at states.
His girls' teams always finished with winning records in all six years.
2014 NEB boys team
The Panthers were NTL Champions (9-0), and won the NTL Coaches' Invitational.
They were the District IV Champions for Class A, and took third at the PIAA Championships.
