Mauer finishes third to lead Selinsgrove contingent

SHIPPENSBURG  - Max Mauer third-place finish in the discus was Selinsgrove's top finisher at the Jack Roddick Invitational at Shippensburg University.

Mauer threw the discus 137-4. He also finished 10th in the shot put with a throw of 46-3.5.

Aidan Shay and Dylan Wagner were the other point scorers for the Seals.

Shay finished fifth in the javelin with a throw of 164-8. Wagner finished 8th in the 300 intermediate hurdles in 40.85. Wagner was 11th in the 110 high hurdles in 15.78.

Logan Rodkey finished 10th in the 200 (22.79) and 12th in the 100 (11.23). Donovan Goundie finished 18th in the 400 (52.12). Jarrett Lee's time of 2:06.01 placed him 30th in the 800.

Xavier Lopez finished 27th in the 110 high hurdles in 16.73, while Brady Divert finished 34th in the 300 intermediate hurdles in 44.09.

Nate Hackenburger finished 26th in the long jump with a leap of 39-2.25. Damian Catherman rounds out the Selinsgrove competitors with a 26th place finish in the discus with a throw of 114-0.
