The Wellsboro Girls Soccer teams suffered a pair of shut out losses to Troy at home on Saturday, September 10.
Troy scored one goal in the first half then added two more in the second while holding the Lady Hornets to just two total shot attempts, one by senior Molly Ingerick and the other by junior Abby Owlett.
Troy took 30 shots in the game, 22 of which were saved by sophomore Annie Gehman.
In the JV game Troy also won 2-0, with both goals being scored in the second half. Sophomore Megan Robbins made 15 saves in goal.
The loss evens Wellsboro's record up at 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the NTL. The team is back in action on Tuesday, September 13 at home against Northeast Bradford.
