Lady Hornets Fall To Milton In Home Finale

The Wellsboro Varsity Girls Soccer team dropped their final home game of the season 4-0 to Milton on Saturday, October 15.
Milton scored three first half goals then added one more in the second, while holding the Lady Hornets to just two shot attempts on goal. Senior Jordyn Abernathy and junior Abby Owlett registered the shot attempts.
Sophomore Annie Gehman stopped 13 of the Lady Panthers' 20 shot attempts in the game.
Milton also won the JV game, 2-0.
The loss drops the Lady Hornets' record to 6-10-1 (5-6 NTL). The team is back in action for their final game of the season at Athens on Thursday, October 20.
