The Wellsboro Volleyball teams dropped their second straight non-league match on Wednesday, October 12 in a 3-0 loss to Central Mountain.
The Lady Wildcats won 25-16, 25-14, and 25-22.
Sophomore Lexi Urena led the Lady Hornets with 8 points and 7 digs. Junior Natalie Cleveland added 7 points and 10 digs, senior Emily Starkweather had 3 points, senior Maddi Bordas made 11 assists and 4 digs, junior Meredith Brownlee recorded 6 kills and 7 digs, and sophomore Paige Logsdon had 3 kills, 4 blocks, and 6 digs.
Central Mountain also won the JV game, 25-16 and 25-12.
The loss drops the Lady Hornets to 9-8 (6-4 NTL Large School Division). The team returns to league play later this evening at Towanda.
