LEWISBURG — Cierra Adams scored 12 points, and Selinsgrove survived a fourth-quarter rally by Lewisburg as the Seals held off the Green Dragons, 31-29, on Monday night in the Heartland Athletic Conference-Division I opener for both teams.
Adams had six points, and Avery DeFazio had four points in the third quarter, as Selinsgrove rallied from a four-point halftime deficit to take a 25-22 lead into the fourth quarter.
DeFazio added nine points, and Haylee Nava knocked down two 3s for the Seals (2-1 overall, 1-0 HAC-I).
Lewisburg falls to Green Dragons (0-2, 0-1 HAC-I).
