Selinsgrove splits opening meet; beats Loyalsock and Southern, falls to Lewisburg

LEWISBURG — Gabriel Schaeffer was the top finisher for Selinsgrove, finishing third in 17:41 as Selinsgrove beat Southern Columbia, 18-50, and Loyalsock 15-50.
Lewisburg took nine of the top 10 spots and beat the Seals, 18-45.
Zach Wentz (19:01), Jarrett Lee (20:58), Brendon Long (22:49) and Ben Malehorn (23:05) also scored for the Seals in the race.
Jacob Hess (17:03) and Thomas Hess (17:38) were the top two finishers in the race for Lewisburg.
