MIDDLEBURG — Lexy Gabrielson scored a game-high 16 points, and Selinsgrove forced 23 first-half turnovers in a 60-32 victory over Midd-West in its first game of the season.
Selinsgrove was the last of the 18 Heartland Athletic Conference teams to get its season started, two months from the day practice started.
The Seals were unable to start on Jan. 4 due to contract tracing, and COVID-19 protocols.
Veronica Stanford had nine on a trio of 3-pointers; and Cierra Adams recorded eight points and eight rebounds in the win.
