JERSEY SHORE — Selinsgrove and Jersey Shore split two matches, giving the Seals at least a share of the Heartland Athletic Conference-Division I girls tennis title.
Selinsgrove won 3-2 in the matched that finished from September, while the Bulldogs won the regularly scheduled match.
The Seals finishes the regular season at 12-2 overall, 9-1 HAC-I. Jersey Shore is 12-2, 7-1 HAC-I with matches against Shikellamy and Central Mountain remaining.
The best match of the day came at No. 1 singles between Fiona Finnerty and Peyton Dincher. All three sets went to a tiebreak and the match lasted more than three hours. Dincher won the third-set tiebreak, 7-2.
