The Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team swept Loyalsock on the road on Wednesday, September 15 to even their record up at 2-2.
The Lady Hornets took the first set 25-12, won the second 25-11, and cruised in the third winning 25-7. The JV Lady Hornets also swept Loyalsock 2-0 (25-8, 25-8).
Freshman Paige Logsdon led the Lady Hornets with 14 points, 7 aces and a block, junior Emily Starkweather had 10 points and 3 aces, senior Olivia Servatius recorded 9 points, 3 aces and 3 assists, and junior Madaline Bordas had 5 assists and 3 kills.
Senior Emma Owlett and sophomore Olivia Chilson had 4 kills each.
The win improves the Lady Hornets' record to 2-2 (1-2 NTL Large School Division) on the year. The team is back in action on Saturday, September 18 at Troy.
