SELINSGROVE - For nearly 30 minutes, the Selinsgrove and Lewisburg boys soccer team were locked in a struggle.
The Green Dragons kept trying to take the lead, but Cole Catherman and the Selinsgrove defense stymied every chance.
At one point, Catherman made two saves, and a defender was forced to clear a ball in the same sequence, but still the Green Dragons did not score.
Anthony Bhangdia broke through with 8:28 left in the game as Lewisburg scored three goals in the final 8:30 of the game to take a 4-1 victory over the Seals.
Bhangdia scored off a Jack Dieffenderfer assist nine minutes into the game to give Lewisburg a 1-0, before Nick Ritter tied the game with 11:25 left in the first half off an assist from Matt Gilfert.
The teams remained tied until late in the second half.
Bhangdia scored with 8:28 left in the game off an assists from Dieffenderfer. Ben Liscum and Dieffenderfer each scored unassisted goals for the final margin of victory.
Catherman finished with 13 saves in the game for the Seals (1-1 overall and HAC-I).
