Lady Warriors fall to Towanda

The Canton Varsity Girls Basketball team dropped a 59-28 loss to Towanda at home on Thursday, January 9.
The Lady Warriors fell behind early after a 23-4 1st quarter run by the Black Knights that the Lady Warriors were never able to recover from.
Elle Binford led Canton with 14 points while Aislyn Williams, Molly Ward, Reagan Kelley, and Raeann Roupp all had 3 points. Alexis Baldwin rounded out the scoring with 2 points. Ward had a team-high 10 rebounds, Roupp added 4 rebounds and 3 blocks, and Courtney Weiskopff had 4 rebounds.
The loss drops the Lady Warriors to 6-4 (3-2 NTL Small School Division). The team is back in action tomorrow afternoon at Cowanesque Valley.
