The Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team was swept 3-0 by North Penn-Liberty on Thursday, October 8.
The loss was the Lady Hornets' first of the season.
Liberty won the first set 25-18, took the second 25-15, and won the third 25-13 to score the sweep.
Senior Kathryn Burnett scored 6 points and senior Breighanna Kemp and junior Emma Owlett scored 5 points each.
North Penn-Liberty also swept the JV game, beating Wellsboro 25-10 and 25-16.
The Lady Hornets are now 5-1 overall (5-1 NTL Large School Division) and are back in action on Tuesday, October 13 at Athens.
