MILL HALL — Sydney Shatzer and Jessica Smith teamed to create Selinsgrove's two first-half goals, and Selinsgrove allowed just one shot in a 3-1 Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference Division I win over Central Mountain on Tuesday night.
With Shikellamy beating Williamsport, 3-1, it still keeps the Seals division title hopes alive. Selinsgrove improves to 8-4-2 overall, 6-2-2 PHAC-I. Williamsport is now 6-1-2. Each team has two division games left. The Seals play Mifflinburg and Milton, while Williamsport faces Montoursville and Mifflinburg.
Shatzer scored the match's first goal with a Smith assist, and the roles reversed 10 minutes later for a 2-0 lead.
Taylor Stoltzfus capped the scoring with 25 minutes to play as Ella Magee assistd for the Seals.
