Selinsgrove girls fall to Berwick in home opener

SELINSGROVE - Berwick broke open a two-point halftime game, outscoring Selinsgrove 16-4 in the third quarter, to pick up a 37-31 victory over the Seals in their home opener.
Katie Starr and Renny Murphy combined to score 14 of the Bulldogs 16 points in the third.
Lexi Gabrielson led the Seals (1-2) with nine points, while Avery Defazio added eight points and Emily Davis chipped in six.
