SELINSGROVE — Teague Hoover and Josh Nylund each had interceptions to set up touchdowns, Brett Foor's punt return set up another as Selinsgrove built a three-score lead on its way to a 30-13 win over Loyalsock in a Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference crossover game.
The Seals (3-3) took a 7-0 lead with 3:20 left in the first quarter when Danny Shoch scored on a quarterback sneak. The score was set up by a 33-yard Shoch to Christian Kantz pass down to the 7.
Foor returned a punt 55 yards later in the first quarter to give Selinsgrove the ball on the 15. On the second play of the second quarter, Nate Schon scored from four yards out. The extra point was blocked, giving the Seals a 13-0 lead.
Hoover intercepted a pass at his own 13 early in the third quarter and returned it 49 yards. Schon's second TD run - from 7 yards out - gave the Seals a 20-0 lead.
After a Kyle Ruhl field goal, and an Lancers touchdown, Nylund intercepted a pass and returned it 50 yards to the Loyalsock 2. Ryan Aument scored on the next play for a 30-6 advantage.
