Seals finish 2-2 in opening golf match of the season

Selinsgrove opened its golf season on Thursday at the Clinton County Country Club, and finished 2-2 in the Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference-Division I match.

League matches in the PHAC will be nine holes this year. The teams played the front nine, which is a par 37.

The Seals shot 195 on the day, five strokes behind Montoursville for second place. Central Mountain went 4-0 on the day by shooting a 175 on its home course.

Dylan Defazio shot a 46 to lead Selinsgrove. Garrett Harris shot a 48, while Mikey Felty shot a 49. Garrett Howell shot a 52.
