Wellsboro, PA & Williamsport, PA - The Loyalsock Township High School has recently teamed up with Circle W Sports, the new name in the game for High School sports, on a new sports website for the school. The new LoyalsockAthletics.com website will cover all sports at Loyalsock High School from Football to Tennis and Softball to Band.

The new website will be hosted and supported by Circle W Sports, with input from their professional writing and photography staff. Additionally, LTHS students will be able to help maintain and publish articles for the site through their Lancer Period Extension course, "Sports Information, Data, and Statistics".

Officials from both Loyalsock and Circle W are excited for the launch of the site.

"With as strong as our programs at Loyalsock are, we as a community are excited to be able to showcase them appropriately through Circle W's platform. This new site will allow us to appropriately highlight the great things happening within Loyalsock Athletics, and give our students the recognition and exposure that they deserve. It's a long time coming," said Athletic Director Mr. Ron (CI) Insinger.

Loyalsock High School Principal, Dr. Matthew Reitz, agreed, "The best decisions and the best outcomes are usually derived when there is evidence and data to support it. The website is a fantastic tool to both showcase and report on individuals and team achievements."

Loyalsock High School physics teacher and creator of the Sports Information, Data, and Statistics mini-course, Ben Lorson, is excited about the partnership as well. "This new website will provide our students the opportunity to recognize and highlight each other. I am looking forward to our students having the opportunity to write game stories and summaries, statistical reports, box scores, etc. right alongside the Circle W professionals. I hope the community finds the site informative, current, engaging, and a big asset for our school. Our students have worked, and will continue to work, extremely hard to provide excellent content and information."

LoyalsockAthletics.com is planned to launch for the Spring 2019 season. We hope that Loyalsock Athletics will help show the community what the high school can do and showcase the students and teams as Dr. Reitz said.

Circle W Sports found its beginnings in 2006 when owner Ed Weaver launched WellsboroFootball.com, the flagship website promoting the Wellsboro Hornet Football team. The organization provides the latest up-to-date scores, statistics, and coverage in this region. Since 2006, WellsboroFootball.com has recorded over a half million page views and has spawned other websites including WellsboroAthletics.com, WellsboroBaseball.com, WellsboroBasketball.com, WellsboroXC.com, WellsboroGolf.com, WellsboroSoccer.com, WellsboroSoftball.com, and WellsboroSwimming.com. Each website provides player information, rosters, schedules, statistics, and history about each Wellsboro team.

Circle W Sports also runs and manages websites for PIAA District IV, the Northern Tier League, the Tioga County Sports Hall of Fame, Vaportrail 24/7, and the PIAA District 4 Football Coaches Association, provides statistical data to Pennsylvania Football News, WesternPAFootball.net, EasternPAFootball.com, Home Page Sports, Fox Sports Williamsport, and the Valley Sports Report, and has launched websites for Athens Foootball, Loyalsock Football, Southern Columbia Football, and Selinsgrove Football.

"We are beyond thrilled to finally have Loyalsock on our platform," said owner Ed Weaver. "When we first started the Circle W Sports platform three years ago one of the first schools we talked to was the Lancers and AD Ron Insinger. We've kept up an excellent relationship with them since then, and am really happy they are on board to help promote their student-athletes and increase their athletic program's reach."

"We want to elevate Loyalsock's website to include the history of all programs," Circle W Sports Managing Editor Brett Crossley said. "We will also continue to keep the website current, covering games, electing Athletes of the Week, and giving students a chance to help with coverage and photos. The goal will be to give fans, parents, players, and coaches a place to find all their Loyalsock news and history in one place. We are looking forward to working with coaches, students, and athletes to help build a site everyone will be proud of."
