Lady Warriors top Troy on the road

The Canton Girls Basketball team improved to 2-1 after beating rival Troy, 52-25 on Friday, December 13.
The Lady Warriors jumped out to a 12-3 first quarter lead and never looked back, as they led 28-15 at halftime and 42-22 after three quarters of play.
Aislyn Williams (14) and Ellie Binford (12) paced Canton on the evening. Alexis Baldwin added 9 points, Courtney Weiskopff scored 8, Molly Ward and Reagan Kelley scored 4 points each, and Raeann Roupp rounded out the scoring with 1 point. Binford also added 6 steals and 5 rebounds, Ward pulled down 13 rebounds, and Weiskopff pitched in 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
Canton (2-1, 1-0 NTL Small School Division) hosts Wyalusing on Tuesday, December 17.
