NTL East boys and girls win Senior All-Star games

MANSFIELD -- The East boys and girls each brought home wins at the NTL Senior Game.

The East boys won 83-69 and the girls won 43-39.

In the boys game the East started to pull away early in the second half on their way to the win.

Dalton Potter of Towanda had 16 points to lead the East and Ethan Lane of Athens had 13 points.

Wyalusing's Jon Morrison had 11 points and Athens' Gavin Stein had 10 points while Ryan Murrelle of Sayre, Will Martin of Wyalusing and Kasar Cameron of Wyalusing all had six points.

Luke Tama of Towanda and Jordan Rockwell of Sayre had five points each and Lars Thomason of Towanda had three points, while Mateo Baglini of Athens had two points. Chaz LaBarre of NEB also played for the east.

The West was led by Dalton Prough of Wellsboro with 16 points and teammate Collin Pietropola had 12 points.

Clark Jackson of Troy had eight points and Ja Wallace of Troy had seven points, while Quinn Henry of Wellsboro had six points. Simon Fish of Williamson had five points and Nick Kasper of NPM, Andrew Hackett of Williamson and Jacob Aumick of Canton had four points each. Nic Ingerick of Wellsboro had three points. Canton's Bishop Walmsley, Sam Fish of Williamson and Tristan Templalman of Williamson all played for the West.

The East girls team was led by Kara Chapman of Athens with 11 points. Chapman had nine straight points for the East in the second half as they pulled away and then held on for the win. The West had a shot to tie it in the final seconds, but the three-pointer came up short.

Blair Wampole had 10 for the East, along with eight blocks and Jaycee Brown finished with eight points.

Ella Brown had four points for the East and Emilee Allis and Ella Bly had two points each. Josie Haverly of NEB and Britt Benjamin of Sayre also played in the game.

For the girls Brynn Williams of CV led the way with 11 points and Lizzie Poirier of Wellsboro had nine points. Tory Self of Wellsboro had six points and Nicole Hummell of CV had four points.

Mikel Shabloski of Wellsboro, Alaina McKee of NPM, Alyssa Remley of NPL and Bethanny Boyce of Williamson had two points each.

Amaya Walker of CV, Jenna Gee and Briana Padgett of Williamson, McKenzie Bogaczyk and Katie Mitstifer of NPL and Sarah Alexander of NPL were also on the West team.
