The Wellsboro Swim teams both took home fourth place finishes at the NTL Championhips on Tuesday, February 13.
In the girls meet the Lady Hornets scored 45 points to finish behind Athens (195), Sayre (119), and Towanda (118). Troy was 5th with 16 points and North Penn-Mansfield was 6th with 13 points.
In boys meet Wellsboro scored 36 points. Athens (162) won, Towanda (139) was 2nd, and Sayre (91) was 3rd. North Penn-Mansfield rounded out the competition with 18 points.
Sophomore Cathryn Brought set a new Sayre pool record with a 24.27 in the 50 Freestyle.
"It's really awesome, it's really exciting to get to be here again and compete with all these amazing swimmers," said Brought. "There was a really good competition here to go that fast."
Brought also took first in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 55.92.
Senior Abby Feil (2:39.22) was 2nd in the 200 IM and was 3rd in the 100 Backstroke (1:12.01), senior Kaitlyne Kramer (25.46) was 2nd in the 50 Freestyle and was 2nd in the 100 Butterfly (1:11.93)
Senior Connor Brought (2:13.73) won the 200 IM and the 100 Breaststroke (1:07.85), sophomore Brennan Warner (24.44) won the 50 Freestyle and the 100 Freestyle (54.54).
