3 NTL Footballers named to PA Writers AA All-State team

Three Northern Tier League Football players were named to the PA Writers All-State Class AA Football team on Thursday, December 27.
North Penn-Mansfield senior Garrett David was selected at linebacker while Wellsboro senior Hunter Brown was picked at defensive line and junior Aidan Hauser was selected at the athlete position.
David finished 2018 with 119 tackles, 3 interceptions for 85 return yards, 7 pass breakups, 1 forced fumble, 2 recovered fumbles, and 2 sacks.
Brown led Wellsboro with 105 tackles, 1 interception for 20 yards, 4 forced fumbles, 3 recovered fumbles, 3 pass breakups, and 6 sacks.
Hauser had a career year of 1,578 yards and 17 touchdowns rushing. He also threw a touchdown, caught 10 passes for 111 yards, returned 6 kicks for 236 yards and two touchdowns, and returned 10 punts for 191 yards and a touchdown.
