Wellsboro and Northern Tioga Golf teams took part in a non-league match at Clinton County Country Club on Thursday, September 28.
St. Joseph's Catholic Academy finished 1st as a team with a score of 336, followed by host Central Mountain (341), Wellsboro (356), and Northern Tioga (358).
St. Joe's took home 4 of the top 5 spots as Jack Mangene took home a 1st place individual finish with a round of 79. Central Mountain's Matt Storeman was 2nd with an 81, St. Joe's Matt Steyers was 3rd with an 82 and teammate Ryan Peachey shot an 83 to finish 4th. Wellsboro's Ben Barnett was the top NTL individual in 5th with a round of 84.
Wellsboro's Brandyn Tuttle tied for 7th with Northern Tioga's Austin Outman and Tanner Adriance with rounds of 86.
Rounding out Wellsboro was Joseph Propheta with 90, Brock Hamblin and Ty Morral with 96's, and Daniel Mitchell with a 111.
Kurtis Easton shot a 90 for Northern Tioga, Tyler Vargeson finished with a 96, Joel Heck carded 100, and Christian Kemp came home with a 102.
Wellsboro (28-8, 25-5 NTL) and Northern Tioga (32-4, 29-1 NTL) will rejoin the rest of the Northern Tier League at Tomasso's on Monday, October 2.
