Wellsboro boys shutout Coudersport, 12-0

The Wellsboro boys and Northeast Bradford and Sayre girls soccer teams picked up NTL wins on Monday, September 18.

Wellsboro 12, Coudersport 0

The Green Hornets scored 10 first half goals to pick up their 6th win of the year. Brett Rudy and Tanner Runyan both had hat tricks on the night, Noah Fitch, Kaeden Mann, Holden Kennedy, and Johnny Rowland added the remaining goals. Gabe Leach, Rudy, and Joseph Grab added assists.

Wellsboro outshot Coudersport 41-11 and won the corner kick battle, 6-1. Wellsboro's Nate Redell made 11 saves in goal while Rozalyn Page had 12 for Coudersport.

Girls Soccer

Northeast Bradford 4, Williamson 0

NEB took 21 shots on goal and had 19 corners in the shutout victory Monday. Karissa Cowles, Hannah Shadduck, Kara Brown, and Erika Vough scored goals for the Lady Panthers while Josie Haverly, McKenzie Johnson, and Abby Goble registered assists.

Sayre 2, North Penn-Mansfield 1

Sayre and Mansfield went to overtime on Monday with the Lady Redskins coming out on top. Sayre's Madisyn Wheeler scored to put the Lady Redskins on the board first with 38:27 remaining in the first. Mansfield's Brooke Knecht tied it up at 1-1 with 32:07 left in the second.

No one scored the final 32 minutes of regulation to force overtime. Sayre's Abby Moliski scored the game winner on an assist from Stephanie Klovekorn for the win.

Sayre outshot Mansfield 26-12 but Mansfield egded the Lady Redskins 6-4 in corner kicks. Sayre's Camry Lane recorded 6 saves in goal while Mansfield's Alaina McKee saved 14 shots
