Trailing 2-0, the Towanda Black Knights rebounded for a 3-2 win in NTL volleyball on Thursday, September 7.
Canton won the first two sets 25-17 and 25-16 then Towanda won the next three 25-23, 25-22, and 16-14.
Madi Doss had 31 digs and 12 points for Towanda and Madigan Allen had 15 digs. Rachael Bair had 14 digs, Justine Vargason had 24 digs and 13 assists, Sydney Schoonover had 14 kills, Lindsey Leljedal had 10 digs, and Reigan Hill had eight digs.
Caitlyn Pepper had 38 assists and 14 points for Canton and Jill Shay had 14 points. Sam Proseus had 11 points and 14 digs while Emily Ferguson had nine points.
Melody Kneller recorded 17 kills in the Lady Rams' win over Northeast Bradford in three sets (25-13, 25-16, 25-12). Karlye Huffman had 32 assists and 7 aces, Makayla Voda made 9 kills, Lylah Oswald recorded 8 kills, and Kendall Krewson added 3 assists.
Marissa Brink had 10 assists for NEB and Lindsay Moore had eight kills.
Madeleine Dutra had nine points and 8 digs for Sayre while Lexi Post had 21 assists. Julia Boyle had 10 digs, Camryn Brown had 9 kills, and Alia Post had 10 points and 20 digs.
For Athens, Mimi Martin had 14 assists, Jocelyn Burns had 8 digs, and Ashtyn Allen had 7 digs.
The Lady Mounties swept CV in three sets (25-10, 25-12, 25-9). Brooke Harvey had 22 points, Mariah Kshir had 11 points and nine assists, JoAnne McNamara had 18 assists, and Maddison Minyo had nine points.
Troy's Cassie Shedden had 11 kills, 16 digs, 11 points and 10 assists; Emilie Cole had 13 digs and 13 kills; Caitlin DeLosa had 10 kills, 12 digs and 7 points; and Savannah Sakosky had 13 digs and 7 points.
