Northern Tioga edged the Hornets by a stroke, 316 to 317, to pick up two non-league wins at White Deer Country Club on Thursday, September 21.
Host school Montgomery finished 3rd on the day with a score of 352.
Wellsboro's Ben Barnett captured 1st place with a round of 73, one stroke over par. Northern Tioga's Tanner Adriance (74) was 2nd followed by teammte Tyler Vargeson (77) in 3rd. Wellsboro's Joseph Propheta and Northern Tioga's Austin Outman tied for 4th with rounds of 79 and Wellsboro's Brandyn Tuttle finished 6th with an 82.
Ty Morral (83) tied for 7th, Brock Hamblin (86) tied for 9th, and Taynton Repard (91) was 14th to round out the Hornet finishers.
Christian Kemp and Kurtis Easton tied for 9th with rounds of 86 and Joel Heck (97) finished in 16th.
Mario Barberio tied for 7th with an 83 to lead Montgomery, Mike Miller (86) tied for 9th, Dylann Scampone (87) was 13th, Brandon Daldo (96) was 15th, and Austin Diehl (98) was 17th.

The Black Knights (209) finished 2nd to Tunkhannock (165) in a 9-hole, non-league match Thursday. Tyler Hawley led the way for Towanda with a 47, Dawsan Manning shot a 51, Kourtney Dunn finished with a 55, Connor Wilcox carded a 56, Bobby Farley had a 59, and Jon Hoffman rounded out the scores with a 65.
NTL play resumes on Tuesday, September 26 at Wellsboro's home course of Tyoga Country Club.
