Murrelle, Barnett tie for first at Tioga

Sayre's Ryan Murelle and Wellsboro's Ben Barnett both shot rounds of 79 to tie for medalist honors at Tioga Country Club in Nichols, NY on Monday, September 18.

Northern Tioga finished 1st overall as a team with 345, four strokes ahead of Wellsboro (349). Sayre (356) was 3rd, Towanda (357) was 4th, Athens (385) was 5th, and North Penn-Mansfield (388) rounded out the card in 6th.

Northern Tioga's Austin Outman carded an 80 to finishd 3rd, Tanner Adriance shot an 83 to finish 4th, and Tyler Vargeson, North Penn's Andrew Everetts, and Wellsboro's Brandyn Tuttle all tied for 5th with rounds of 86. Towanda's Tyler Hawley and Bobby Farley tied for 8th with rounds of 87 and Athens' Nate Kennedy was 10th with a round of 88.

Northern Tioga improves to 25-0, Wellsboro is 20-5, Sayre is 14-11, Towanda is 9-16, North Penn-Mansfield is 4-21, and Athens is 3-22.
