Middle School volleyball tops CV, 2-0

The Wellsboro Middle School Volleyball team won their 8th straight game by beating Cowanesque Valley 2-0 on Wednesday, October 11.
The young Lady Hornets won the first set 25-23 and held on for a 28-26 second set win. Emily Starkweather and Emma Pietropola had 11 good serves each and Pietropola added a kill. Jordan Judlin had 8 good serves and Starkweather and Emma Brandenburg each had spikes.
Wellsboro also won the B-game 25-16.
The win improves the Lady Hornets' record to 10-2. The team will be back in action on Saturday, October 14 against Canton.
