The Wellsboro Middle School Boys Basketball team finished in 3rd place at the Northeast Bradford Tournament on Saturday, February 4.
The Hornets went 2-1 on the day, beating Canton 46-32 in their first game, losing to North Penn-Mansfield 45-23 in the second, and hanging on to beat host Northeast Bradford 30-29 in their final game of the day.
Joseph Grab led Wellsboro with 51 points on the day, Nevin DeCosta scored 13, Will Poirier 14, Zach Singer had 8, and Danny Timmons pitched in with 6 points.
Grab was also nominated to the All-Tournament team.
The Hornets are now 3-1 and are back in action tonight on the road in Towanda.
