Liberty hangs on to shutout Northeast Bradford

The North Penn-Liberty boys picked up a 1-0 victory over Northeast Bradford on Wednesday, September 27.

The Mounties' Luke Yoder scored the game's only with 14:03 remaining in the first half on a Nathaniel Johnston assist. Liberty held on the rest of the way to pickup the win.

Riley Walker collected 13 saves in goal for Liberty. The Mounties took 21 shots on goal and 3 corner kicks.

Williamsport 6, Wellsboro 0

Williamsport scored three goals in each half to claim the shutout over the Green Hornets on Wednesday. Samantha Reeder scored 11 minutes into the game then Katie Penman scored back-to-back goals in the 17th and 26th minute to put the Lady Millionaires up 3-0 at the break. Reeder scored a minute into the second half to increase the score to 4-0.

Goals by Madison Bowman and Kathryn Schefsky in the 57th and 73rd minutes brought the game to a close.

Wellsboro was held to just 3 total shot attempts, two by Emma Poirier and one by Alyssa Yungwirth. Sydney Tremper recorded 15 saves in goal during the game while Williamsport's Lila Vogelsong made 2 saves.
