The Wellsboro Boys Tennis team swept a doubleheader with Cowanesque Valley on Monday, April 24 to pick up their first two wins of the 2017 season.
The Hornets won the first match 7-0 and the second 6-1. The wins break an eight-game losing streak.
"We did a great job moving the ball around the court this afternooon, and putting it out of reach of our opponent," said head coach Margery Hoffman. "We were able to stay focused and concentrate on the win, our first of the season."

The Hornets are now 2-8 (2-2 NTL). The team will be back in action on Wednesday, April 26 at North Penn-Liberty.
