Members of the Athens and Towanda Cross Country teams ran at the McDaniel-Baxter Invitational on Saturday, September 16.
Athens finished 12th overall (304) in the boys race with Towanda (369) finishing in 18th while the Athens girls (164) finished 7th.
For the Athens boys, Nate Aquillo (15:43) was 21st, TJ Toscano (16:24) was 46th, Tivon Ligouri (17:23) was 73rd, Sean Waltman (17:37) was 82nd, and Mason Henderson (17:54) rounded out the top 5 for the Wildcats.
Towanda's Kaigen Stroop (15:44) was 22nd, Chase Dibble (17:16) was 68th, Eric Lauber (18:04) was 95th, Zachery Johnson (18:10) was 97th, and Jacob Simmons (18:14) was 98th.
In the girls race, Athens' Emily Arnold (18:31) was 9th, Caitlyn Powell (21:21) was 42nd, Selkie Bishop (21:35) was 47th, Isabelle Menard (23:46) was 58th, and Carlie Simpson (26:01) was 68th.
