Five members of the Wellsboro Boys Tennis team were named to the NTL All-Star team on Tuesday, May 23.
Sophomore Nate Redell was a 1st team singles selection and juniors Noah Fitch and Gabe Leach were both 2nd team singles picks. The doubles team of juniors Tanner Runyan and Ryan Stough were 1st team selections and the team of Gabe Leach and senior Josiah Hill were 2nd team selections.
Freshman Luke Leach and sophomore Alan Hazelton were also named players to watch for next season.
"It's quite a tribute to our boys that the coaches have selected 3 of them for first team, and 2 more for second team NTL all-stars," said head coach Margery Hoffman. "This honor points to the great improvement we have seen in our performance over the season."
