Towanda Volleyball sweeps Wellsboro

The Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team suffered their third straight loss on Tuesday, September 20 to Towanda.
Towanda swept Wellsboro 3-0 on the night winning 25-19, 25-23, 25-23.
Senior Morgan Florio led the team with 15 kills, 12 assists and 4 points, senior Kirsten Florio had 9 kills and 3 blocks, junior Brianne Keane had 13 assists, 7 points, and made 10 digs, and junior Sydney Tremper made 14 digs.
Junior Jillian Graver had 4 kills and 1 block, junior Grace Feil scored 6 points, and junior Cheyenne Sherman scored 4 points.
The JV team continued their undefeated season with a 2-0 (25-16, 25-14) win over Towanda to improve to 8-0 on the year.
The Varsity loss drops the Lady Hornets' to 4-4 on the year. The team will be back in action on Thursday, September 22 at Troy.
