Three members of the Wellsboro Swim team medaled on the first night of Districts.
Junior Nathan Cotner won a silver medal in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:47.30. Senior Mikayla Feil and junior Olivia Kurtz took home bronze medals as they tied in the 50 Freestyle at 25.71.
For the boys, sophomore Connor Brought finished 11th in the 200 Freestyle (2:00.29) and junior Devan Warner was 11th in the 100 Butterfly (1:09.10), while sophomore Kaitlyne Kramer clocked a time of 2:13.71 to finish in 10th in the 200 Freesstyle for the girls side.
As a team, the Hornets sit in 11th place with 67 points. The boys are in 11th place with 29 points and the girls are in 12th with 38 points.
The Hornets will be back in the pool tonight for the second night of Districts.
