Three Hornet swimmers qualify for Districts

Three members of the Wellsboro Swim team qualified for Districts at a tri-meet with Sayre and Towanda on Saturday, January 30.

Sophomore Connor Brought qualified in the 200 Freestyle with a 1st place finish in 2:02.86 and in the 500 Freestyle (5:33.01), junior Olivia Kurtz qualified in both the 50 Freestyle (26.63) and in the 100 Freestyle (57.93) with 1st place finishes, and freshman Zoe Iseri qualified in the 100 Butterfly with a 3rd place finish in 1:17.59.

Iseri also finished 4th in the 500 Freestyle (30.5) and junior Devan Warner finished 3rd in the 50 Freestyle (26.44) and 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke (1:19.85).

The team will be back in the pool at Jersey Shore on Thursday, February 4.
